Last updated 2 October 2026. Applies to Concrete Calculator for Android
(listed as "Concrete Calculator: Bags+Cost"), package com.concretecalculator.tool.
Concrete Calculator collects nothing, sends nothing and stores nothing outside your phone. It has no internet permission, so it cannot reach a network even in principle. That is a property of the app you install, and this page tells you how to check it yourself.
android.permission.INTERNET. Without that permission
Android refuses every network connection, whatever the code inside the app tries to do.
This is enforced by the operating system, not by us.
An app can only use the network if it asks Android for permission. Concrete Calculator does not ask.
aapt2 dump permissions prints one line,
com.concretecalculator.tool.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION. That is a
permission the app defines for itself, so that its own internal broadcast receivers are not
reachable by other apps. It grants no access to anything outside the app and it is not a
network permission.
Everything the app remembers lives in its own private storage on your phone: your unit and
region preferences, saved material prices and the waste allowance, the calculator form inputs
and the list of recent calculations, saved projects and their history, and your theme and
text-size choice. All of it is visible only to you, and uninstalling the app deletes it.
Android's automatic backup is switched off (android:allowBackup="false" in the
manifest), so none of it is copied into your Google account either.
Two features hand data to something else. Both are things you tap deliberately, and neither goes to us or over a network.
concretemixer://mix scheme). Nothing goes over a network,
because neither app can use one. Concrete Calculator only asks Android whether the Mixer is
installed; it gains no other access and learns nothing else about your device.
There is no advertising and no subscription, and nothing in the app is locked. Settings has an optional Support development screen where you can leave a tip.
Tips are handled by the Google Play Store app on your phone. This app still has no internet permission and never sees your payment details. Google Play processes tips under Google's privacy policy. The app stores nothing about a tip, and a tip unlocks nothing, because nothing is locked.
Concrete Calculator is a construction tool intended for a general adult audience. It is not directed at children, and since it collects no data at all, it collects none from children.
The app is built with open-source components (React, Zustand and Capacitor). They run entirely on your phone as part of the app, and none of them is a service or an SDK that receives data. No third party receives anything, because nothing is sent.
Not a privacy matter, but worth stating plainly: this app is an estimating aid. Code-derived figures such as IRC stair limits are gentle, editable guidance, not an authority. Verify quantities against your local code and your supplier before ordering materials or building.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. A future version of the app that collected data or added network access would be described here before it ships, and an internet permission would be plainly visible on the Play listing.
Questions about this policy: christos@sudo-ezekiel.com. Because the app holds no data about you, there is nothing to request, correct or delete.
